How to share advanced grading as template

Sharing a marking guide or rubric as template is a fairly easy process, but only select lecturers have this capability.

The following steps will detail on how to share grading forms:

 Instructions

  1. Create and make ready your marking guide / rubrics. When they are ready, you will see a message saying that it is ready for use:

  1. Referring to the above image, to the right side, you will see a button called “Publish the form as a new template”. Clicking on this will publish the created marking guide / rubrics as a template for use by other lecturers.

  2. You will be asked to confirm your action, click on “Continue” to proceed.

  1. Your template is now saved, and any lecturers searching for the template via its name will find it in the repository. It would make it easy for lecturers to find a template if you give it a unique name. One method of doing this is using the module code as part of the marking guide / rubrics’ name (e.g.: BM018-3-1-BLW).

Important Notice: When creating the template, remember that you MUST NOT give criteria the same name like this (e.g.: A1 - B1):

This is to avoid export issues to OBE later on.
