Installation Guide for SmartPLS 4 (Windows)

This guide will demonstrate the installation and activation process of SmartPLS 4.

Downloading SmartPLS 4

Step 1 - Go to SmartPLS 4 download page. Choose Download Windows Installer.

Installing SmartPLS 4

Step 1 - Double click on the SmartPLS installer (smartpls4_windows-x64.exe) to run the installer. Click Next.

Step 2 - You can change the installation path in this page. It is recommended to keep it as default and click Next.

Step 3 - Wait for the installation process to complete.

Step 4 - Once the installation process is completed, click Finish.

Activating SmartPLS 4

Step 1 - Double click the SmartPLS 4 shortcut on the desktop. Alternatively, look for SmartPLS in Start Menu and click on SmartPLS 4.

Step 2 - SmartPLS will open and requesting for license. Choose Professional license.

Step 3 - Select Connect to a license server and enter 219.93.16.138:16090.

Step 4 - If there isn’t any network or license server issue, you will see information regarding the license. Click on Start usage.

Result - SmartPLS 4 is activated.

Run SmartPLS 4

Step 1 - Double click the SmartPLS 4 shortcut on the desktop. Alternatively, look for SmartPLS in Start Menu and click on SmartPLS 4.

Result - If there isn’t any error regarding license issue, SmartPLS 4 is installed and activated properly.
