Transfer of Endorsement

1. You need to transfer your student pass to a new passport immediately should be any one of the below takes place:

   1. Passport Validity Date is Expiring

   2. Damaged Passport

   3. Lost Passport
      
      

2. Students can make an arrangement to transfers Student Pass to a new passport through APU Immigration Services Office. Please submit:

   1. Your old passport and new passport

   2. One (1) set photocopy of new passport

   3. One (1) photocopy of old passport

   4. Copy of the police report from The Royal Malaysia of Police Department (PDRM) is required if the old passport is lost in Malaysia.

   5. If the applicant’s passport is lost at a foreign country, a copy of the police report that is lodged at the foreign local police station and a police report from The Royal Malaysia of Police Department (PDRM) are required

   6. If the applicant’s embassy has taken the old passport during the issuance of new passport, a copy of the explanation letter from the Embassy is required.

If you send us a document that is not in English or Bahasa Malaysia in support of your application, this document must be accompanied by a full translation into English that can be independently verified by EMGS.

1. Malaysian Immigration usually takes up to 14 working days to endorse a pass transfer. A processing fee between RM 93.00 to RM 150.00 could apply, depending on your country of origin.

2. It is a MANDATORY requirement from the Immigration of Malaysia for a student to cancel their old passport once they obtain a new passport.
