Installation guideline for OBS Studio (macOS- M series)

This guide will help you install OBS Studio for macOS M1/M1 chip.

Installation Video

Download OBS Studio

Step 1: Go to OBS Studio download page and click on macOS.

Step 2: Click on macos (Apple Silicon).

Result: OBS-Studio-30.0.2-macOS-Apple.dmg will be downloaded.

Install OBS Studio

Step 1: Double click on OBS-Studio-30.0.2-macOS-Apple.dmg.

Step 2: Drag OBS icon to the Applications icon.

Step 3: Double click on the OBS icon to launch it.

Step 4: Click Open.

Result: OBS Studio has been installed successfully

Run OBS Studio

Step 1: Click on the OBS icon in Launchpad.

Step 2: Click Open.

Result: OBS will launch.
