Installation Guideline for Wireshark 4.0.6 (Windows 11)

This is a step-by-step process on how to install Wireshark 4.0.10 on Windows 11. The entire article is divided into three sections, which include; downloading, installing and running Wireshark 4.0.10 on Windows 11.


This installation guide is only applicable to Windows 11.

Downloading Wireshark 4.0.6 (Windows 11)

Step 1: Go to Official Download Page and search up for Wireshark-win64-4.0.6.exe. You can use the shortcut to search, Ctrl+F. Then, click Wireshark-win64-4.0.6.exe.

Result: Once Wireshark-win64-4.0.6.exe clicked, the Wireshark 4.0.6 (Windows 11) will start downloading.


Installing Wireshark 4.0.6 (Windows 11)

Step 1: Go to Download in files and click Wireshark-win64-4.0.6.exe.

Step 2: Click Noted.

Step 3: Click Next.

Step 4: Click Next.

Step 5: Click Next.

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: You may install USBPcap 1.5.4.0 otherwise click Install.

Step 8: Click Yes.

Step 9: Click OK.

Step 10: Wait for the installation to be finished.

Step 11: Click Next.

Step 12: Once the installation is done, click Finish.


Run Wireshark 4.0.6

Step 1: Launch Wireshark.

Step 2: Click Skip this version.

 

Result: Installation complete.
