RemoteLab@APU is a services that enable students and staff to connect to Technology Lab computers remotely from anywhere and at anytime via the browser. The users establish a secure HTTPS connection via the browser to the a proxy server and then gets assigned a connection to a physical lab computer. RemoteLab@APU is deployed with a picture of ensure LAB facilities are optimize and students and staff can benefit with a service that enables them to use APU’s resources from anywhere. Moreover, to ensure high compute is achieved by RemoteLab@APU depending on the LAB Computer you are connected toThis leverages APU’s existing resources in the physical lab.

RemoteLab@APU is powered by Apache Guacamole. Apache Guacamole is a clientless client-less remote desktop gateway. It supports standard protocols like VNC, RDP, and SSH. Thanks to HTML5, all you need to access your lab desktops is a web browser.
