Export marks from Moodle to OBE for resit in-course assessments in intake specific folder

Problem statment:

Lecturers can’t export the marks from Moodle to OBE for the in-course resit assessments from the intake specific folder which requires the assessment team to extract the marks for each assessment and conduct the assessment after the class end

Steps to export the resit for in-course assessment marks from Moodle to OBE:

1. Navigate to the intake specific folder in Moodle:

2. Make sure that you finish exporting the grades for all fresh assessments before starting exporting the grade for resit assessments

3. Un-enrol all student from class group that you used to export the marks for fresh assessment

   1. Click on the Participants tab → gear icon on top right → Select “Groups”

   2. Select the class group that you use to export marks for fresh assessments, then click on “Add/Remove Users” on the bottom right
      
      

      Open

      

   3. Highlight ALL the students who belong to class and click on “Remove”
      
      

4. Enrol the resit students only to the class group that you use to export the marks for fresh assessments. You can highlight the names and click “Add”.
   
   

5. Export the marks to OBE like you would a normal assessment:

   1. Navigate to Grades tab

   2. Click export

   3. Select from the separate classes (groups) menu the class that is used to export the marks for fresh assessments which has the resit students only
      
      

   4. Tick the new resit assessment activities

   5. Click Next button

   6. Untick all the fresh in-course and exam from all components

   7. Map all the resit assessment activities with the correct OBE components

   8. Click sub-components button

   9. Map the sub-components as normal

   10. Save marks in OBE

   11. Check the marks in OBE of it’s exported correctly for the resit students

Notes:

1. The exam resit must be in the resit folders (not in the intake specific folder ) which arranged and managed by assessment team

2. All resit in-course marks must be caped by 50

3. Export the marks for resit assessments after you finish exporting all the fresh assessments
