Installing IBM SPSS
Step 1: Download the installer from IBM SPSS v28 (macOS & Windows)
Step 2: After launching the installer, you will be presented with this installer menu. Click Continue.
Step 3: Click Continue.
Step 4: Click on Agree to accept the terms of the software license agreement and continue installment of IBM SPSS Statistics.
Step 4: Click on Install.
Step 5: “Key in” your password. Click on Install Software.
The installation process will now begin and it should take around 10 minutes.
Step 6: Now you should see a successful installation message. Click Close.
Activating IBM SPSS
If you have installed IBM SPSS/Amos before 5th August 2022, please install the new v28 version and update the server details from 219.93.16.137 (Old) to 219.93.16.138 (New).
Step 1: Open IBM SPSS Statistics
Step 2: Click on Launch License Wizard.
Step 3: Click on Next.
Step 4: Select Concurrent User License and click on Next.
Step 6: Key in the IP address: 219.93.16.138 and click on Next.
Step 7: Once the licensing is completed, click on Finish.
Step 8: If you see the following message, click on switch license and restart the previous actions. If you do not see the message, you may proceed using IBM SPSS Statistics.
Step 9: Click on Restart.
Using IBM SPSS
If the licensing is successful, you will see the following window with a Welcome message.
Now, you may proceed with creating your Dataset and you will see the following window with all features enabled:
