How do I register for Graduation?
You would need to register online and make payment online/cash deposit. Please refer to the graduation website, click here.
I am an International student and would like to get an invitation letter to attend the Graduation ceremony as that is needed for my visa and my parents’ visa for us to purchase flight tickets. How do I apply for it?
Currently, Malaysian borders are still closed and Social visits using Tourist Visa or Social Visit Visa are not allowed by the authorities at the moment. Please refer to https://www.kln.gov.my/ for updates/latest news on the opening of border and quarantine procedure (if Malaysian borders are opened).
Can I attend the Graduation ceremony if I have pending fees?
No, graduand will not be able to register for the Graduation ceremony if he/she has pending fees.
How many guest tickets can I purchase?
An attending graduate can only purchase a maximum of two tickets to be seated at the Main Hall (AUD 1) or any seats at the ‘Live Broadcast Halls’ (AUD 2, AUD 4 OR AUD 5), depending on the availability of seats as the seat purchases is on first-come, first-served basis.
How much do I need to pay for the guest tickets?
It will be RM85 per person for Main Hall (AUD 1) and RM40 per person for Live Broadcast Halls (AUD 2, AUD 4 & AUD 5). The price mentioned is inclusive of refreshments.
Will my guests in "Live Broadcast Halls" (AUD 2, AUD 4 & AUD 5) enjoy the same refreshment as my guests in AUD 1?
Yes, they will be served the same refreshment, please ensure your guest(s) to wear the guest tag(s) to be granted access to the cafeteria entrance for refreshment.
Can children be allowed to attend the Ceremony?
I have wheelchair guests and who do I inform?
Please tick the ‘wheelchair option’ at the Graduation registration page. Alternatively, you can email us at graduation@apu.edu.my to inform. Seating arrangements can be made for those who are on a wheelchair.
I am not able to attend this Graduation ceremony. Can I join the next Graduation?
Yes, the next Graduation ceremony will be held tentatively in July 2022. You may contact us at graduation@apu.edu.my for more information.
