Installation guideline for Rhino 8 (macOS - M series)

Installation Video

Download Rhino

Step 1: Go to the Rhino download page.

Step 2: Click on Rhino 8 for Mac.

Step 3: Click on Login or Create a Rhino Account to Download.

Step 4: Click on Create a new account.

Step 5: Fill in your Name, “TP mail” and phone number then click Create a new account.

Step 6: Go to your TP mail account and locate the email from Rhino Accounts. Next, click on the Complete the account creation process link.

Step 7: Click on I agree to McNeel’s Privacy Policy then click on Download Now.

Result: Installer for rhino 8 will begin downloading.

Install Rhino 8

Step 1: Click on the installer from recent download history.

Step 2: Drag and drop the Rhino 8 icon to the Applications icon.

Step 3: Double click on the Rhino 8 icon to launch.

Step 4: Click Open.

Activating Rhino 8

Step 1: Click Options.

Step 2: Click on Use the LAN Zoo.

Step 4: Click on Use the Zoo server with the following hostname or IP address then enter “219.93.16.138” and click Continue.

Result: Rhino 8 license activated.

Run Rhino 8

Step 1: Go to Launchpad and click on the Rhino 8 icon.

Step 2: Click Open.

Result: Rhino 8 will launch.
