Installation guideline for Anaconda Navigator (macOS - M series)

Anaconda Navigator is a user-friendly platform designed for data science and machine learning. Serving as a graphical interface to the powerful Anaconda distribution, it simplifies package management and environment setup. Navigator streamlines the process of launching Jupyter notebooks, managing libraries, and exploring data, fostering a seamless and efficient environment for scientific computing.

This guide will help you install Anaconda Navigator for macOS M1/M2 chip.

Download Anaconda Navigator

Step 1: Go to Anaconda download page and click on Download for Mac (M1/M2/M3).

Result: Anaconda3-2023.09-0-MacOSX-arm64.pkg will be downloaded.

Installing Anaconda Navigator

Step 1: Double click on Anaconda3-2023.09-0-MacOSX-arm64.pkg.

Step 2: Click Allow.

Step 3: Click Continue.

Step 4: Click Continue.

Step 5: Click Continue.

Step 6: Click Agree.

Step 7: Click on Install for me only and then click Continue.

Step 8: Click Install.

Step 9: Click Continue.

Step 10: Click Close.

Run Anaconda Navigator

Step 1: Click on the Anaconda-Navigator icon in Launchpad.

Result: Anaconda Navigator will launch.
