Installation guideline for Blender (macOS - M series)
Blender is a versatile open-source 3D creation suite, serving as a powerful tool for artists, animators, and designers. Packed with features, it enables the creation of stunning visual effects, animations, and interactive 3D applications.
This guide will help you install Blender for macOS M1/M2 chip.
Installation Video
Download Blender
Step 1: Go to Blender download page and click on Download Blender 4.0.2.
Result: blender-4.0.2-macos-arm64.dmg will be downloaded.
Install Blender
Step 1: Double click on blender-4.0.2-macos-arm64.dmg.
Step 2: Drag Blender icon to the Applications icon.
Step 3: Double click on the Blender icon.
Step 4: Click on Open.
Result: Blender has been installed and launched successfully.
Run Blender
Step 1: Click on Blender icon in Launchpad.
Step 2: Click Open.
Result: Blender will launch.
