There are 3 methods you can follow to get the files out of VirtualLab@APU: using Network Drive, using USB Redirection, or through OneDrive.
We suggest you to use the Network Drive method as it should be working by default and is the easiest way to transfer files within workstations.

Plug in your USB Device to the host computer.
Go to This PC view (Shortcut: + E).
You will notice at least one device under Network locations. These are your user folder and external storage devices on your host machine mapped to the virtual machine as a network drive.
